The Bethesda, Maryland-based GTM Architects has unveiled its designs for three new Sugar Factory American Brasseries in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Mashantucket, Connecticut. The firm is currently collaborating on designs for outposts in New York; Bellevue, Washington; and Pentagon City in Washington, DC.
Spanning 9,000 square feet, the Chicago location is home to a 200-seat dining room. The new, 17,700-square-foot Las Vegas restaurant—the largest in the brand’s portfolio—is spread across two levels, housing both a full-service eatery and a retail space. The upper level is home to the opulent 3,000-square-foot Chocolate Lounge. In addition to an indoor dining room and two outdoor patios on both levels, the Sin City space also includes a full-service café, confectionary shop, and a 14-seat miniature carousel that leads to a private gazebo.
All of the GTM-designed locations feature the Sugar Factory’s signature black, white, and red palette as well as crystal chandeliers, marble accents, plush booths, VIP areas, and private event spaces.
