Washington Park Hotel Makes Official Debut in South Beach

South Beach’s Washington Park Hotel has celebrated its grand opening with the launch of its Employees Only bar and restaurant. Comprising five Art Deco-style structures first built in the 1940s, the hotel pays homage to Miami across 181 guestrooms and elegant public spaces crafted by locally based Big Time Design Studios.

Boasting more than an acre of landscaped grounds, the property evokes the bygone glamour of Miami through modern gray and wood color schemes accented with warm yellow and orange tones. A pool serves as the nucleus of the hotel, flanked by tropical gardens clad with hammocks. Retro arcade games evoke nostalgia, while the courtyard hosts life-size Jenga and bocce courts. A fitness center is onsite as well.

Housed within the historic Coral House, the Employees Only bar is the brand’s third international location and the first to debut within a hotel. Anchored in the property’s Art Deco aesthetic, the concept is designed to entice both visitors and locals. In addition to Employees Only, the tropical bar Swizzle has also opened its doors.
