Rocco Forte Hotels has announced that it will unveil its latest hotel, Masseria Torre Maizza, a Rocco Forte Hotel, this May in Puglia, Italy. The secluded retreat is conceived by Rocco Forte director of design Olga Polizzi to highlight the best local craftsmanship and to establish a sense of place.
Located in the idyllic setting of Savelletri di Fasano, the hotel is housed within a restored 16th-century farmhouse surrounded by sculptural olive trees just off the Adriatic coast. The 40-room property is adorned with elegant and rustic tones that complement the setting. Heavy carpeting and wicker furniture populate each accommodation, most of which enjoy their own private patios as well as original fireplaces that add a dash of romance. The onsite F&B concept welcomes visitors to dine beneath the vaulted ceilings of the dining room, the open-air settings of the hotel garden, or the colonnade surrounding the 65-foot-long pool.
