The Marquette Hotel has debuted in Minneapolis as the latest member of Hilton’s Curio Collection after a $25 million overhaul from New York-based studio MARKZEFF. The first Curio hotel in Minnesota, it boasts 272 revamped accommodations as well as a new lobby and F&B concepts.
Drawing influence from local culture and history, the modern design is a tribute to explorer Jacques Marquette, the property’s namesake. The palette is layered with deep gray, charcoal, and lavish blue tones to exude sleek, timeless style. Open-concept spaces in the lobby recall the atmosphere of an art gallery, appointed with modern elements, textures, ambient lighting, and cozy seating.
Amenities include 24-hour fitness and business centers, a well-stocked sundry, and more than 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Onsite venues also include the 13,000-square-foot Windows on Minnesota room on the 50th floor and the 4,416-square-foot Galaxy Ballroom.
