Conceived by interior design firm Extreme Artdesign Studio, the Chandolin Boutique Hotel draws influence from the surrounding landscapes of Switzerland. The hotel was fully renovated by Swiss architecture firm Kittel with the 25-room alpine retreat featuring a façade of linseed oil-treated wooden slats, as well as balconies and balustrades crafted from larch wood and cedar.
Accented with bespoke furnishings and monochromatic mountain photography, the understated interior is adorned with unpolished stonework, aged oak parquet floors, and raw fabrics. The hotel’s natural setting is respected through the design’s extensive sustainability measures, which include solar panels, dual-flow ventilation, and triple glazing.
A highlight of the onsite amenities, the Wellness Altitude center includes a hammam and sauna outfitted with large, spruce wood windows that frame expansive views. The signature eatery Le Restaurant offers a fireside dining experience detailed with bronze and copper elements, while the refined Moonbar provides intimacy at the heart of the property.
