London-based practice Areen Design is set to unveil its designs for two forthcoming Nairobi properties under Marriott’s Four Points by Sheraton brand.
Housed within a transformed Best Western Premier in the bustling hub of Hurlingham, the Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Hurlingham has recently celebrated its grand opening. Several elements from the original design were preserved, while also aligning with the Marriott identity. The business hotel is outfitted with high-quality finishes, a reimagined reception, and a new lobby café.
The forthcoming Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport will house 172 guestrooms and a contemporary aesthetic that exudes quality and functionality. A double-height feature wall will be installed in the reception area, while the lobby café will be equipped with a display that changes from the course of the day. A rooftop pool and the all-day dining concept Pablo’s will also debut later this year.
“With innovation being a key part of the Four Points by Sheraton offer, we want guests in both hotel projects in Nairobi to appreciate the quality and creativity of our interiors, whilst also respecting the culture and heritage of the locality,” says Andrew Linwood, head of hospitality design for Areen Design. “This has become a familiar challenge for us and we look forward to many more.”
