Ani Villas has launched its fourth property across a four-acre estate in the Dominican Republic. Designed by locally based architecture practice Estudio Sarah Garcia, Ani Villas Dominican Republic spans 14 private suites across two villas—one with eight suites, the other with six—along the peninsula’s coast.
Ten 1,200-square-foot master suites boast lofty, pitched ceilings as well as backlit onyx screens adorned with bespoke artwork. South American hardwood floors and local travertine reference to both Balinese and Dominican design. Deep soaking tubs are featured in the bathrooms, while enclosed outdoor gardens are appointed with al fresco showers.
Each villa is oriented around a respective 6,000-square-foot open-walled living and dining area with pool and shuffleboard tables. The expansive spaces flow onto sundecks and infinity pools as well. The onsite spa includes two treatment rooms and a fitness center in addition to steam showers and changing rooms. The resort also offers a tennis and sports court.
