Wake up in Bondi
The QT hotel is both chic and hip—a perfect place to wake up and start your day overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Breakfast at Bills Bondi Beach
Sydney does breakfast like no other. The blend of cultures is apparent in the layers of flavors found in the food around town, but Bills takes it to the next level with its guilt-free specialty morning cocktails.
Shopping in Paddington
It’s an iconic shopping street with a great blend of styles from high-end Australian designer stores among quaint boutiques. The streets are full of character, where you tend to get lost but at the same time find yourself discovering a new store.
Lunch in Barangaroo
It’s the new dining precinct among Sydney City residents with an array of restaurants showcasing culinary wonders from every corner of the world. My top choice is Cirrus, a modern Australian seafood restaurant that encompasses everything. Location, great design [by Pascale Gomes-McNabb in collaboration with Terroir], an incredible wine list, and gorgeous food.
Cocktails at Le Montage’s lobby in Lilyfield
[I designed] a luxury whiskey bar away from the busy cityscape where locals in Sydney’s Inner West enjoy high-end Italian tapas and a glass from its whiskey selection, including Hibiki Limited from Mt. Fuji, Japan.
Dinner at Momofuku Seiobo
It only serves a 14-course degustation menu and has an underground vibe when trying to book a table. You can rest assured that you won’t leave disappointed. It’s original in every way.
