Coworking and co-living company WeWork has introduced retail concept WeMrkt inside WeWork’s 205 Hudson location in Lower Manhattan, spread across 80 square feet. The concept provides members with exclusive access to goods, including snacks, office supplies, branded apparel, and even products made by WeWork members. Two additional New York locations will also pilot the concept through September 1st.
“WeMrkt is a great example of WeWork’s commitment to our members’ success,” says WeWork’s chief brand officer Julie Rice, adding that WeMrkt is “by our members, for our members.”
WeWork, which operates a portfolio of 260 international facilities, has revealed plans to roll out WeMrkts across all 110 of its WeWork locations before initiating its global introduction. Each WeMrkt will vary in size from 20 to 110 square feet.
