Meet in Place, the startup dedicated to providing accessible meeting spaces for the public, has expanded its portfolio to five locations across three countries, including New York, London, and Tel Aviv.
The concept disrupts the sea of coworking spaces by offering private rooms rentable on an hourly basis up to a half hour in advance via phone or app. The company collaborates with design firms who can translate the brand’s ethos into empowering, translatable spaces grounded in service and design. For its recently opened Lower Manhattan location, for example, New York-based practice Float Studio created a minimal space with white surfaces and European white oak engineered floors to highlight the building’s original high ceilings and large windows. Scandinavian-inspired interiors complement the open environment to ensure a smooth user experience across four room categories: classic and grand conference rooms, salons, and grand salons. The configurations host between two to 30 people.
“The best way to describe Meet in Place is [as] a boutique hotel for meeting rooms,” says CEO and founder Yaron Kopel. “All our locations around the globe share our brand values of intelligent design, prime location, and high level of service, so no matter where you go, you know exactly what you will get”.
