Architect and designer Gulla Jonsdottir has announced the first art exhibition held by her Los Angeles-based practice Gulla Jonsdottir Atelier. The Atelier is hosting a new show by Japanese artist Kahori Maki—her first in the U.S.
Entitled Kahori Maki’s Sense of Wonder, the exhibition highlights the beauty and vibrancy of flowers. Known for her bold strokes and lively floral forms, the immersive show showcases work from a series that Maki first drafted in 2012. Shiho Minami also collaborated on the exhibition.
Sense of Wonder will be open to the public through October 20.
