Boston firm Shawmut Design and Construction and Cincinnati-based FRCH Design Worldwide have completed the design of the Times Square flagship of cosmetics brand Covergirl. The new retail destination totals two floors and 10,000 square feet of space.
In addition to amenities like a digital greeter, the store also boasts customization stations and even a photo studio. Two 25-foot-tall signs, custom illuminated signage and lightboxes, and two large TV screens demonstrate unique technology integration, while a shimmer wall of spinning light discs and colorful LED wall washers further punctuate the lively setting. Concrete flooring, wallcoverings, a feature staircase, and freestanding shelves and millwork are also fixtures of the design.
