Tulsa’s newest wine bar, Vintage, has opened in the city’s Blue Dome District as a reinterpretation of local institution Vintage 1974. A fresh new design from Brooklyn, New York-based studio Workstead evokes an Art Deco inspiration that simultaneously evokes contemporary comforts and style.
Jewel tones and warm fixtures complement the streamlined contours and elegant structure of the interior, which is installed below another Workstead project—the First Ward Salon. The bar is encased by stepping walls, which are anchored by long and low banquettes positioned across from the walnut bar. The strength in form, utility, and material of Vintage is further expressed by elements sourced locally (like the millwork) and from as far as the UK to ensure uniformity.
