The latest restaurant project from New York-based practice Tihany Design is set to arrive in Music City next month. Led by chef Michael Mina, Bourbon Steak Nashville will open on the 34th floor of the newly opened JW Marriott Nashville, providing a contemporary spin on the classic steakhouse.
Inspired by the building’s unique ellipse shape, Bourbon Steak’s interior will be defined by circular motifs and curved lines. Rounded, architectural wood panels and brushed metal sconces will complement a bourbon-inspired color palette that comes alive with blue and brass accents. The 280-seat dining room will be outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, plush banquettes, and comfortable seating arranged for a more intimate dining experience. Large, circular chandeliers illuminate the eatery drawing the eyes to curated, local artwork.
A 40-seat bar and lounge will also be featured, complete with a circular indoor-outdoor bar. Crafted from curved wood and satin bronze shelving, the sleek, masculine bar will extend out to the expansive top-floor terrace, overlooking the city and beyond.
