Designers Jessica Wilpon Kamel and Christina Akiskalou of New York-based architecture and interior design firm Ronen Lev have completed a new F&B concept, Main Street Tavern, in the Amagansett, New York. The newly opened Hamptons eatery has been thoughtfully tailored with a well-considered layout and seating configurations to ensure that guests are safe and social distance is maintained.
A beachy gray-green façade welcomes visitors and sets Main Street Tavern apart from neighboring structures. Dark, rich interiors that comprise walnut and natural wood offset the exterior along with ebony-toned walls and custom banquette upholstered in a sage green textile. A bespoke wood bar stands out beneath warm lighting and an original tin ceiling. Historic details, like penny-tiled floors, are also preserved to instill a sense of history and place. Outside, a 54-seat open-air beer garden accommodates guests partial to alfresco dining.
