The lineup has been announced for the nearly 15 F&B concepts slated to arrive as part of Hudson Yards, Manhattan’s 28-acre neighborhood along the Hudson River from Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group. The expansive project will boast dining options from chefs Thomas Keller, David Chang, Costas Spiliadis, and Michael Lomonaco primarily within the Shops & Restaurants structure. Designed by Boston-based firm Elkus Manfredi Architects, the building will span 1 million square feet of dining amenities upon opening in late 2018.
Momofuku’s Hudson Yards eatery will span 5,000 square feet, drawing influence from the U.S., Japan, and Korea. A formal dining room will open as well as a takeaway space. In collaboration with Albert and Ferran Adrià, José Andrés will install the 35,000-square-foot España—the Adriàs’ maiden U.S. eatery—at 10 Hudson Yards beneath the High Line. Chef Juan Santa Cruz’s Santa Cruz Co. will introduce his first U.S. outpost in 2019 at 35 Hudson Yards, which will also be home to the inaugural Equinox Hotel. Also arriving at Hudson Yards will be a modern brasserie concept from D&D London.
Additional restaurants are slated to open within 35 and 50 Hudson Yards, which will house a variety of indoor-outdoor options that range in size from 350 to 16,000 square feet.
