Chef Brendan Collins has partnered with hospitality veteran Michael Greco to launch the new restaurant Fia in Santa Monica. Matthew Winter of Los Angeles-based studio M. Winter Design led the crafting of the indoor-outdoor eatery, with a distinctive Southern California ambiance.
The 300-seat eatery reveals its multifaceted personality across an indoor dining room, lounge, and a garden. Coastal influences abound in both cuisine and design, with lush ferns, native palms, and verdant flowers installed throughout in homage to Fiacre, the restaurant’s namesake and the patron saint of gardens. Rare vintage fixtures infuse a rustic sensibility alongside elements like wrought-iron window treatments, and French doors, while details like the outdoor bocce ball court evoke a playful vibe.
