The latest outpost for Kento Shop, a Spanish-born Japanese culinary concept, has opened in Valencia, Spain. Locally based design practice Masquespacio oversaw the design, marking the third collaboration between the firm and Kento.
At nearly 1,075 square feet, the new Valencia location is also the largest one yet. A large glass window forms a natural connection between the lofted interior and the city. In addition to high ceilings, the interior is outfitted with mirrors to enlarge the space, while most seating configurations are set to face the outside as well. Gray mosaic tiles span much of the design in contrast to the more vibrant brand signatures. Bamboo elements add a Japanese design influence to the industrial interior. Gold accents are also featured alongside Kento’s signature palette of purple and green.
