Farmhouse Café at Roger’s Gardens has debuted in Corona Del Mar, California. Spread across seven acres in Newport Beach, Santa Ana, California-based Kenneth Ussenko Design crafted the eatery with an atmosphere reflective of the field-to-fork concept.
“Farmhouse’s design inspiration is a union of two paths, Napa Valley architectural outlines populated by French country accents, as well as a wondrous symphony of horticulture beauty,” says designer Kenneth Ussenko. “The impact of these influences helped bring elements of a California winery together.”
A western red cedar pergola welcomes guests along with a modern water trough fountain to help set a tranquil mood. Vintage barn and harbor sconces illuminate the open air space, while tables are made of reclaimed wood from the walls of East Coast tobacco farms. Pastoral greenery and aged wine barrels also accent the dining room.
The glass-enclosed wine collection and gallery kitchen offer a glimpse behind the scenes, and the main bar includes craft masonry walls and sliding barn doors.
