Located within a repurposed structure in Atlanta’s BeltLine, the new bar and restaurant Golden Eagle evokes retro vibes alongside a classic sensibility. Restaurateur Michael Lennox collaborated on the diner concept with interior designer Elizabeth Ingram. The old-fashioned tavern is reminiscent of a bygone era, complete with an Art Deco-style backbar.
A hallway-like space is accentuated with sultry walls appointed with custom, vintage-inspired fixtures. Beyond the hallway, the large dining space includes a variety of seating configurations from loungers to banquettes upholstered in velvet and leather atop plaid carpeting. Ingram also employed an array of found items and architectural elements to balance the aesthetic with both a historic and contemporary flair.
