The Hilton West Palm Beach has heralded the return of its signature restaurant Galley following a redesign. Situated in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach’s blossoming cultural district, the midcentury modern-style eatery draws inspiration from the artistic spirit of the neighborhood.
The restaurant embraces an artful aesthetic with a curated contemporary art collection in addition to a series of novelties gracing the walls, including vintage posters, totemic posts made in Cameroon, and local artwork. From vintage wooden mirrors and wall art crafted from recycled buoys, refurbished pieces of old ships also populate the interior in homage to the hotel’s proximity to the ocean. Beyond the dining room, the kitchen features a mosaic-tiled Marra Forni pizza oven and an oversized robata grill. A 25-foot nana wall opens to a fecund outdoor space appointed with an expansive, custom firepit, Milanese furniture, and terrazzo and marble floors.
