Cinnamon Kitchen, Oxford has arrived as the latest addition to the Cinnamon Collection from chef Vivek Singh, and the first outside London. The contemporary Indian concept features interiors crafted by DesignLSM to reflect understated, contemporary elements along with the intricacy and elegance of traditional Indian architecture.
Located in the Rooftop Gardens of the Westgate shopping center, the 114-seat eatery is equipped with an outdoor garden terrace that overlooks the city’s famous spires. The design employs a refined palette of materials and colors, from decorative whitewashed wall panels to bespoke pendant lighting and luxe marble. Clad with authentic rattan panels, the bar serves as the focal point of the space with stately tones of marble and brass. An array of green beetle-like seating punctuates the dining room.
A chef’s table sits across from the open kitchen, while the semiprivate Pagoda dining space boasts bespoke brass cut screens for added intimacy. The outdoor terrace conjures the exotic elegance of an Indian garden with rich greenery and relaxed alfresco furniture.
