Kiev, Ukraine-based designers Lera Brumina and Artem Trigubchak have unveiled the sumptuous 915-square-foot café and bakery concept Breadway in the historic port city of Odessa.
Occupying the storefront of a former dental clinic, the new venue is awash in a dynamic color palette with blue hues adorning its takeaway section, while muted gray juxtaposes pink velvet chairs and an upholstered bench with tall scalloped backs in the dining area. Pale blue seating and small white café tables populate the area as well. Pink also serves as the key color within the waiting zone, which is fixed at the heart of the interior. High ceilings and large windows allow natural light to fill the space, while custom coral-colored chandeliers pay homage to American pop aesthetics. Wrapped in glossy tiling, café walls are accented with details ranging from a thick strip of gold to globe pendants.
