Hilton has launched its 18th brand, Tempo by Hilton, an affordable lifestyle hotel curated to serve a growing segment of modern achievers.
Guided by interviews with more than 10,000 customers and 100 property owners, as well as bringing together design and lifestyle partnerships, Tempo by Hilton provides hotel owners and developers with a highly scalable model that is within reach for future guests. NELSON Worldwide and the Gettys Group collaborated on the design concept with Hilton.
The new brand has established and built upon partnerships with leading experts across the wellbeing, F&B, and other lifestyle spheres, including Arianna Huffington’s renowned behavior change platform, Thrive Global, and veteran culinary firm Blau + Associates. These organizations bring a sense of discovery to the new line and empower guests to continue prioritizing wellbeing while traveling.
“Utilizing a data-driven blueprint, we identified lifestyle offerings inside the guestrooms and throughout the property that push the entire sector to new heights,” said Phil Cordell, senior vice president and global head of new brand development, Hilton. “The end result is a compelling yet approachable brand that enables owners to expand their portfolios in sought-after locations across the country as well as capture a new demographic of travelers.”
Each Tempo by Hilton property will feature elements designed to help guests continue their journey without disrupting their routine. The guestroom experiences include a finely tuned sleep environment dubbed the Power Down Zone, as well as space for the bathroom and a Get Ready zone, providing a specific area for guests to focus on work. In addition, the oversized bath suites include mirrors with built-in Bluetooth speakers. In public spaces, guests will enjoy state-of-the-art fitness offerings, flexible meeting spaces, and informal lounge areas. Developed alongside Blau + Associates, Tempo by Hilton’s F&B offerings include the in-lobby Fuel Bar, a complimentary coffee and tea spot, along with various benefit-driven mix-ins.
There are more than 30 deals signed to date, with properties confirmed in New York, Maui, Boston, Los Angeles, Lexington, Nashville, San Diego, Charlotte, Washington, DC, Houston, Atlanta, and more. An additional 30 properties are in various stages of development.
