Housed within a Victorian building, Corinthia Hotel London has opened its doors. Interiors by GA Design International aim for a residential feel accented by sophisticated touches. The hotel’s intricately designed 294 guestrooms include 45 luxury suites, some of which are located inside of historic turrets and feature private elevators and terraces. Amenities include an inner foyer and garden, two restaurants (designed by David Collins), a luxury spa, cocktail bar, boardroom meeting facilities, and a refurbished grand ballroom.
The crown jewel of the hotel is the Full Moon chandelier, created by Parisian designer Chafik Gasmi and produced by Baccarat. Hanging in the central domed glass atrium of the lobby lounge, Full Moon-made of 1,001 crystal baubles in three sizes-features a signature single red crystal lying at the heart of the piece. Carefully hidden within the crystals are LEDs, which cast a stunning glow over the heart of the hotel.
