The Wave Resort is slated to arrive on the shores of Long Branch, New Jersey this Memorial Day weekend as the new fixture of the Pier Village. The six-story boutique hotel—located directly across from the boardwalk and beach, and the next step in the shoretown’s revitalization. forthcoming boutique concept will feature a medley of amenities crafted by an elite design team, including Dutch East Design and HBA.
Upon entering the living room-style lobby, eyes will immediately be drawn to a bespoke, gallery-worthy concrete reception desk. Framed vistas juxtaposed with natural, warm raw materials; color-blocked, dusty, sunset-toned fabrics; and crisp graphic designs make for an interactive and inviting foyer space that is perfect for relaxing with a cocktail or playing pool with friends. Each restaurant and bar, from the boardwalk café to the richly toned brasserie-style fine dining room to the second-floor pool deck, serve as a collection of communal lounging spaces that seamlessly transition from work to play throughout the day.
Wave Resort will be home to seven Dutch East Design-designed F&B options including a seafood concept, beachside coffee shop, burger joint, Mexican street food spot, and a swim-up pool bar—all of which will be operated by New York-based hospitality brand APICII. All 67 contemporary accommodations will be equipped with private walk-out balconies as well as a sleek, urban coastal finishes. Rounding out the property’s onsite amenities will be a spa, a large outdoor pool deck (which will frame 180-degree beach views), and a 7,125-square-foot event space attached to an oceanfront outdoor terrace.
