The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia has announced plans to undergo a multimillion-dollar facelift by West Palm Beach, Florida-based Marzipan Design Studio.
Drawing inspiration from its waterfront setting, the luxury lakeside hotel’s redesigned guestrooms and suites will reflect a residential-style ambiance capturing the natural splendor of the locale. Executive suites will be conceived with a natural color palette paired with warm accents also reflective of a lake house. In each accommodation, wood and wicker furnishings will recall the influence of Georgia pines and lakefront docks, along with well-curated artwork immersing guests in a sense of place. Elements like plantation shutters, freestanding soaking tubs, and rich wood sliding doors will also be featured, in addition to a select number of guestrooms further detailed with firepits on their respective patios.
The updated club lounge of the concept will be adorned with soft hues to offset a medley of dark and light wood furniture, while a luxe infinity pool will serve as the centerpiece of the hotel’s amenities.
