The Drisco Hotel is set to begin welcoming travelers next month in the American Colony section of Tel Aviv. Revitalized by Ari Shaltiel, the 42-room luxury boutique property will capture the flair of the modern city, while also translating original Ottoman designs through a contemporary lens.
Innovative décor will juxtapose withrestored, historic murals as part of the overall blending of Old World luxury with modern comforts. Comprising 37 spacious guestrooms and five handsome suites, the upscale accommodations will boast Carrara marble bathrooms outfitted with large walk-in showers, oriental-patterned ceramic tiles, ornate wall lamps, and imperial vintage sinks and vanities. Spacious balconies will provide guests with views of the Tel Aviv-Jaff or Mediterranean Sea, while the historic Villa Drisco, which is home to five rooms and the Norton Suite, will boast a private terrace that overlooks the hotel’s inner piazza and garden. Amenities will include the Drisco Bar in the posh lobby and the upscale restaurant Zada as well.
