The 100-room River’s Edge Hotel in Portland, Oregon has unveiled its redesign from local firm SERA Architects and HRI Properties.
The design evokes warm Pacific Northwest hospitality in a minimalist-chic setting with a Scandinavian aesthetic. The redesigned lobby features floor-to-ceiling windows and modern décor crafted from natural materials, such as a white marble front desk and light wood panels.
Light-filled guestrooms boast a color palette of blue, gray, and white with pops of gold while offering scenic river or hillside views. Residential in both style and feel, each guestroom is outfitted with an ergonomic workspace, eclectic artwork, and either one or two king-sized beds. Among the 100 rooms are 18 suites, complete with separate sitting areas, furnished balconies, and gas fireplaces.
The property will debut a new riverfront dining concept in the coming weeks that will specialize in modern American cuisine with subtle Mediterranean influences.
