Dallas-based Pickard Design Studio has revealed its newly completed, large-scale renovation of the Hotel Indigo Dallas. Connected to the city’s iconic Titche-Goettinger department store, the landmark, boutique hotel property was the first to operate under the Hilton banner following its debut in 1925. Led by principal Sarah Pickard with assistance from interior designer Ashley Loftis and project manager Pam Grayson, the restoration aimed to channel the spirit of the 1920s, with references to the fashion of the era, and is further amplified by murals from local photographer Jacque Manaugh.
A refreshing new color scheme includes a palette of cool gray tones, warm neutrals, and cream hues, while bright colors offset Texas white Indiana limestone. In addition to the 170 guestrooms, the upgrade impacted public spaces including the lobby, reception area, meeting spaces, corridors, the business center, and the onsite bar and restaurant Titches Bar and Bistro.
