A multimillion-dollar renovation is underway at the Nobu Palo Alto, which is set to debut in early 2020. Led by Los Angeles-based practice Montalba Architects, the teak-clad guestrooms and suites have recently been revealed, marking the close of the first phase of the site’s redesign.
Each of the 73 accommodations feature plush bedding reflective of Silicon Valley, complete with reading lights and controls integrated into the bed frame. Natural stone vanities, freeestanding wood soaking tubs, and fully illuminated mirrors mark the bathroom, while floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors with motorized roll-down and blackout Roman shades lead to private patios that overlook the Santa Cruz Mountains.
