Following its debut in December 2017, the Conrad Cartagena has recently introduced several new features including a spa, kids club, new F&B options, and a presidential suite. The 268-room hotel is Conrad’s first property in Colombia and its third in Latin America.
Spread across more than 2,500 square feet, the new presidential suite joins the property this year. The suite is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive living and dining areas, and a wraparound balcony that maximizes natural views. In addition, 159 additional rooms will be unveiled this year. The oceanfront retreat’s newly launched 9,600-square-foot spa draws inspiration from Colombian traditions as well as the four elements. The hotel has also added a seventh dining experience, the Karibana Beach Club, to its lineup, while the new kids club is equipped to host screenings, performances, and classes.
The hotel’s interior design is characterized by neutral tones, contemporary wooden furniture, wooden décor, and artwork from native artist Pedro Ruiz. Also featured onsite are five swimming pools and more than 24,000 square feet of flexible event space including a 9,000-square-foot ballroom and five 700-square-foot meeting rooms.
