The Menhaden has debuted as the newest boutique concept on the historic coast of Greenport Village in Long Island, New York.
Its modern interiors are detailed with nautical artifacts, from bottles to horseshoes, and even a mast from a historic whaling vessel that was discovered during the hotel’s construction.
Beyond the lobby lounge, all 16 accommodations feature an airy ambiance that blends a neutral palette with natural accents of wood and greenery. Guestroom corridors are outfitted with a curated gallery of drinks and snacks.
In addition to the onsite grab-and-go concept in the lobby, the Menhaden is also home to the Merchant’s Wife, a modern and moody Mediterranean eatery, where a flexible dining room layout includes two lengthy banquettes and small tables. The space is adorned with black and white décor offset by handpainted botanical designs of local artist Kara Hoblin.
