Conceived by the McBride Company, Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, a destination and entertainment complex, has opened on Hollywood Beach, Florida’s Broadwalk.
“Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort explores the various elements of the Margaritaville brand in a new light, demonstrating that it can be coastal-luxe and sophisticated, while still being a lot of fun,” says Pat McBride, CEO of the McBride Company.
Capitalizing on the property’s Atlantic Ocean views, Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort features a coastal-inspired aesthetic. Within the lobby, indoor cabanas create private niches beneath a free-form light structure made of hundreds of margarita glasses.
The resort’s public spaces and guestrooms feature an eclectic array of art. For example, a 14-foot-tall blue flip-flop is the lobby’s focal point, while a mixed-media mosaic is suspended over the reception desk. Lyrics from Jimmy Buffett songs hang in public spaces in addition to a display of surfboards from the musician’s own collection.
Amenities include the 11,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa, which offers lounges, locker rooms, a wet and thermal lounge, group exercise room, gym, hair and nail salon, steam rooms, monsoon showers, cascade pool, and 11 treatment rooms.
Guests may also use more than 30,000 square feet of function space, which includes the Compass Rose Ballroom, where a neutral color palette highlights palm-inspired carpeting and antique etched mirrors. Three crystal and porcelain chandeliers mimic schools of fish.
Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort has officially opened, with several property aspects to be finalized in the next few weeks.
