Housed within a 33-story glass tower, the JW Marriott Nashville has debuted as the newest property under the ownership of Turnberry Associates. Home to 533 expansive guestrooms, including 37 luxury suites, the new hotel boasts a rooftop pool, full-service spa, and more than 50,000 square feet of indoor event space. Arquitectonica spearheaded the design of the tower, while New York-based architecture firm Stonehill Taylor handled the interiors.
Crafted with the industrial history of the city in mind, each accommodation is adorned with pale wood paneling, deep earth tones, and contemporary bronze finishes. Manicured lines and custom carpeting showcase striking geometry, while modern furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows bolster the residential style of the rooms.
The expansive rooftop lounge on the 33rd floor embraces a panoramic backdrop of the city, while a 13,000-square-foot event lawn provides additional outdoor space for larger functions. The top floor is home to the indoor-outdoor American steakhouse Bourbon Steak, which features a design from New York-based designer Adam D. Tihany. On the main level of the hotel, Stompin Grounds Restaurant & Market serves as a vibrant, culinary homage to the city, offering both a casual grab-and-go marketplace and a three-meal restaurant. The 10,000-square-foot pool evokes a restrained opulence and is surrounded by a full outdoor bar and five cabanas. In addition, the Spa by JW comprises five private treatment rooms spread across 4,000 square feet.
