The Hotel Duncan in New Haven, Connecticut is scheduled to close its doors in spring 2018 to undergo a comprehensive renovation as part of its recent acquisition by AJ Capital Partners. The five-story property is set to reopen in early 2019 as the 72-room Graduate New Haven.
Located at the center of Yale University’s Arts campus, the hotel is accessible to downtown New Haven and university facilities including Yale New Haven Hospital. The redesign will impact all guestrooms and public spaces, and includes the restoration of the hotel’s manually operated elevator, the oldest in Connecticut. The refresh will also see the debut of a new lobby coffee shop as well as an elegant game room and lounge within the former ballroom.
