The Hotel at Avalon has arrived in Atlanta as the latest addition to Marriott’s Autograph Collection. Evoking Southern charm, the Hotel at Avalon has debuted along with the Alpharetta Conference Center, marking the completion of the mixed-use project’s final phase.
Locally based architecture firm Cooper Carry spearheaded the hotel’s design, while Perkins + Will oversaw the interiors. A sense of Southern hospitality is conveyed through a tranquil palette of gray, cream, and buttery yellow. Each of the 330 stylish rooms are appointed with unique artwork, while the posh Avalon presidential suite on the second floor overlooks Avalon Boulevard below.
The hotel and conference center provide a combined 44,000 square feet of versatile event space, including a pool terrace that doubles as an outdoor event space that also overlooks Avalon Boulevard from the second floor. Two ballrooms, an executive boardroom, and a series of smaller meeting rooms are also available. A fitness center and the forthcoming Woodhouse Day Spa are among the onsite amenities. The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry designed the South City Kitchen Avalon.
