Fusion Resort Phu Quoc has arrived on the Vietnamese island, offering extensive luxury spaces with an emphasis on wellness and connection to nature. Designed by Ho Chi Minh City-based design practice Serenity, the property comprises 97 rustic yet contemporary thatched villas installed along the ocean and green riverbanks.
Ranging in size from 1,356-square-foot one-bedroom pool villas to 7,395-square-foot five-bedroom Grand Beach villa, each accommodation is crafted with earth tones, notes of green, and natural materials. The low-lying villas embrace their lush surroundings with large glass doors that open to private-walled gardens, plunge pools, floating hammocks, and shaded outdoor living areas. Open-plan bedrooms and living areas naturally flow into one another, while ensuite bathrooms feature either custom bathtubs, monsoon showers, or both.
The cornerstone of the property is the 120,663-square-foot Maia Spa & Wellness facility, which houses 20 double treatment rooms, changing areas, a private outdoor pool, salon, fitness center, steam room and sauna, and indoor and outdoor yoga areas. Sheltered, open-air corridors link each treatment room, which are appointed with natural tones and timbers as well as outdoor showers and secluded private gardens.
Onsite dining options include the 180-seat Secret Garden, a lofty venue anchored by a hidden, central grove; the 80-seat oceanfront eatery Pezcá; and the informal poolside bar and diner Soul Kitchen.
