HBA will reveal its design of the new extension, Fairway One, at the Lodge at Pebble Beach in California this August. The addition will accommodate 30 guestrooms across three two-story volumes as well as eight rooms in two four-bedroom golf cottages facing the fairway of the property’s golf course. The design also includes a new 2,500-square-foot meeting room.
The two Fairway One Cottages will house 1,000-square-foot living rooms, two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and outdoor terraces equipped with a firepit. Each living room will be outfitted with 17-foot-tall ceilings clad with wooden beams, rich wood millwork, and a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace. Rooms will feature a wet bar, dining area, and oversized furniture, as well as a white architectural palette accented with earth tones. Thirty guestrooms will boast large windows and terraces to ensure a connection with the outdoor setting. A soft, neutral color scheme and classic patterns will evoke elegance across each room.
Fairway One will also house the Lodge, the Inn, and Casa Palmero. Upgrades to the Lodge include a 30 percent expansion of window walls in all oceanfront rooms to maximize views. Oceanfront decks have also doubled in size to serve as outdoor living spaces, while bedroom renovations boast new furnishings and accessories such as a signature fireplace wall. The façade has also been refreshed with wood, stone, and stucco touches.
The indoor-outdoor meeting facility will feature a variety of spaces, with the 2,500-square-foot Fairway One Meeting Room at its center overlooking the golf course’s first green. Additional venues will include a 700-square-foot board room, a 1,000-square-foot living room, and the 2,250-square-foot terrace patio. Local artwork, natural materials, and tactile finishes will characterize the venue.
