Marriott International’s Moxy Hotels is continuing to expand its U.S. footprint this fall with the opening of the Moxy DC. Housed within a late-19th-century structure in the city’s downtown, the hotel will be designed with an industrial chic aesthetic conceived by Long Island City, New York-based studio dash design.
Outfitted with 200 guestrooms, the 14-story hotel will feature unique urban design touchpoints such as polished concrete floors, exposed concrete columns, and open ceilings. The communal lobby seamlessly integrates the bar and living room-style lounge area. A library concept will be housed onsite, while the NOW public space will serve as the hotel’s gaming hub. Among the property’s three distinctive F&B options, a lively, glass-enclosed rooftop concept will crown the hotel when it opens this spring.
