The Canopy by Hilton Washington D.C., Bethesda North has launched just outside the nation’s capital as Canopy’s second North America property. Opened inside the mixed-use Pike & Rose development, the hotel draws inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood thanks to a design from Brooklyn, New York-based MARKZEFF. The 177-room property includes 12 suites and 24 queen rooms, complete with 9-foot-tall floor-to-ceiling windows.
Mark Zeff collaborated with Hilton’s team to create an authentic design, boasting materials such as roughly hewn oak walls, concrete floors, and locally inspired artwork that spans the interior. In addition to the extensive dining and entertainment amenities available throughout Pike & Rose, the hotel will feature F&B spaces, including the Canopy Central Café and Bar and the outdoor rooftop terrace Pike’s Perspective Terrace. The terrace is included among the property’s 7,700 square feet of event space, which also includes 1,100 square feet of pre-function space on the third floor.
