Canopy by Hilton has revealed five newly signed properties in its international development pipeline. More than 30 hotels are slated to debut within the next five years.
Scheduled to arrive in late 2019, the Canopy by Hilton Washington DC, Embassy Row will open in the heart of the city’s Scott Circle. Drawing influence from the design of the city’s monuments, the hotel will reinterpret contemporary architectural conventions with abundant artwork and whimsical notes. Late 2020 will see the arrival of the 123-room Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero. The brand’s first outpost in France, the property will embrace its positioning within the cultural center of the 16th arrondissement.
Three hotels are poised to join the Canopy fleet in 2021, beginning with the Canopy by Hilton Bordeaux Chartrons. Overlooking the Garonne River, the new build will reflect the industrial identity of its surroundings as well as the regional wine culture. The hotel will also be home to numerous F&B spaces including a rooftop restaurant and bar. The Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront will debut in Maine’s Old Port Neighborhood in spring 2021. Home to 135 guestrooms, the hotel will overlook Casco Bay and include an indoor-outdoor rooftop bar as well as street-level dining. Finally, the Canopy by Hilton Venice City Center will mark the Italian debut of the lifestyle brand and serve as a key fixture of the redevelopment of existing 19th-century buildings in the Venetian Botanical Gardens.
