Bulgari Hotels and Japanese developer Mitsui Fudosan have announced plans to launch the first Bulgari property in Japan. Slated to arrive in 2022 as part of a forthcoming mixed-use development near the Tokyo Station area of the city, the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo will once again see the brand collaborating with Italian architecture firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. It will become the ninth property in the international Bulgari portfolio.
The hotel will occupy the skyscraper’s top seven floors above elevated offices and retail. Among the 98 guestrooms will be a variety of configurations including twin and double rooms, luxury suites, and the opulent Bulgari suite. In addition to a fireplace lounge, outdoor terrace, and dramatic ballroom, the hotel will host F&B spaces such as Il Bar, Il Ristorante, and an Il Cioccolato store. Spanning more than 16,000 square feet, the Bulgari Spa will also be home to a fitness center and indoor pool.
