The Bodega Bay Lodge in Bodega Bay, California has unveiled five newly renovated Ocean Club suites as well as extensive property-wide upgrades from San Francisco-based interior designer Laura Cook.
Each of the five new residential-style suites feature fresh nautical décor in a deep blue, crisp white, and calming gray color palette. Textured walls, sea-inspired artwork, granite fireplaces, and vaulted ceilings add to the motif. Flooded with natural light, the suites boast an oversized king bed and an adjacent queen sofa bed in the living area. Spa-like bathrooms are equipped with deep, jetted tubs, and walk-in showers as well as a skylight and double sinks. The suites’ private terraces are punctuated with inviting furniture and easy access to the heated outdoor pool and infinity hot tub.
The spa and fitness center also received a refresh, now boasting a tiled outdoor shower and adjacent firepit. The updated lobby features oversized couches, leather reading chairs, restored hardwood and slate flooring, and a massive fireplace. The nearby Den houses a variety of gaming and seating, while the renovated and rebranded onsite restaurant Drakes Sonoma Coast Kitchen has been redesigned to complement the coastal setting.
