Architecture firm OMA has completed the 56-story glass tower for luxury residential concept the Avery in San Francisco’s Transbay District, with interiors from New York-based Clodagh.
Drawing influence from the Bay Area, interiors are wrapped with a color palette reflective of the city. Mixed woods and authentic stones abound in tandem with rich, neutral tones that reinforce the influence of nature. The Avery welcomes visitors with two lobbies. The sundrenched spaces are anchored by large stone and wooden reception desks, while artwork is fixed upon and against solid wood paneling.
Units are outfitted with kitchens that boast Italian marble counters, oak floors, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Meantime, bathrooms include frameless glass showers and soaking tubs in addition to custom dual vanities.
“We wanted to capture that magical feeling of San Francisco for residents at the Avery, with our choices of mixed woods and marbles, for which we were inspired by San Francisco’s redwoods and the ocean, as well as all of the Bay Area’s natural attractions, and large paintings that evoke luxury, comfort, and an interior connection to nature,” Clodagh says.
In addition to a pool, spa, and sauna, the 30,000 square feet of amenities also include the Shops at Avery Lane on the ground floor.
