Hyatt has introduced the Miraval Austin, set across 220 acres overlooking Lake Travis and the first wellness resort to open outside the brand’s flagship in Tucson, Arizona.
Hart Howerton oversaw the design of the property’s 117 guestrooms and suites, all of which are conceived as serene retreats. A soft, neutral palette reinforces the natural surroundings, while bespoke furniture, handpicked fabrics, and handmade accessories and artwork further promote restoration.
New York-based designer Clodagh spearheaded the design of the 20,000-square-foot Life in Balance Spa, which houses 30 treatment rooms, a spa pool, relaxation rooms, a sauna, salon, steam room, and boutique. A 5,600-square-foot Body Mindfulness Center also serves as the onsite fitness center.
The property is also home to the 10-acre Cypress Creek Organic Farm, from which Miraval Austin sources its produce. F&B options include the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen, Discovery Pool Café, the signature coffee and smoothie concept the Nest, and the signature restaurant Hilltop Crossings Kitchen.
