Napa Valley getaway Auberge du Soleil has unveiled the redesign of its private maisons: Cannes and Monaco. San Francisco-based designer Suzanne Tucker oversaw the enhancement of the luxe accommodations.
The two freestanding, two-bedroom, two-bath accommodations are situated upon the most isolated corner of the resort, where they overlook lush vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountains. Both 1,800-square-foot maisons are adorned with a palette inspired by the site’s olive grove setting and its variegated green hues. Custom furnishings and textiles project an earthen palette throughout the interior, juxtaposing notes of olive and sage with ivory and sand tones. Plaster ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and cerused oak floors also line the interiors of both spaces. A delicate tribal print details custom, embroidered drapes, which accent floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows and doors.
“Privacy is one of our greatest luxuries, so we wanted to ensure that guests walking into Cannes and Monaco feel like they have the property all to themselves,” says Tucker. “These two private maisons represent the crème de la crème and seem such a fitting way to complete this extensive labor of love.”
