Coworking, co-living, and social space developer the Assemblage has announced plans to launch its second location next month in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York. In addition to five floors of coworking space, the John Street House will be outfitted with a 79-room hotel. The concept first debuted in New York’s NoMad neighborhood.
A live moss installation will welcome guests as it stretches across the entryway ceilings and walls. Large, handpainted murals will adorn guestroom corridors with scenes unique to each floor. Ranging in size from 227 to 718 square feet, accommodations will be designed for long-term stays. Guests will have access to a yoga studio, tea ceremony room, sound meditation space, and spacious rooftop. Communal workspaces will be equipped with flexible desks, while resident desks and studios will provide room for solo or small group work, respectively. The resident office will also be available for up to four people. The Assembly will serve as a venue for after-work retreat and relaxation.
