The AC Hotel Sunnyvale Cupertino is set to open this summer in Silicon Valley as the maiden hotel property in a forthcoming sprawl of hotels in the Bay Area of California. Designed by T2 Hospitality, the LEED Silver-certified hotel will span five floors and house 182 bespoke guestrooms, including 107 kings, 22 enhanced kings, 47 double queens, and six suites.
The forthcoming hotel will embrace a modern design that celebrates the Spanish roots and European flair of the brand, while also reflecting the qualities of its surroundings. Custom orchard branch artwork in reception will reference the old orchard fields of Sunnyvale while complementing a natural materiality and varied spectrum of textures. Clean lines and subtle tones for guestrooms and public spaces will recall the agrarian heritage of Silicon Valley, as well as its principles of functionality. Accommodations will also be equipped with deconstructed baths and freestanding vanities. Floating desks, luggage benches, and upholstered headboard walls are also to be installed.
More than 2,450 square feet of common space will be outfitted onsite with amenities like an Innovation Lab that totals 815 square feet of dynamic meeting space and includes an outdoor patio. A media salon will serve as an additional option for meetings. AC signatures such as the AC Library and the AC Store will be included in addition to the AC Lounge and AC Kitchen.
