25hours Hotels is gearing up to open its second property in Copenhagen, Denmark this July.
Located in the center of Christiansholm—a harborside development project also known as Paper Island—25hours Hotel Paper Island houses 128 rooms, an Asian restaurant, a day bar, and rooftop bar.Â
Danish architecture practice COBE was tapped to spearhead the architectural design of the property, which will aim to maximize its waterfront setting and proximity to cultural institutions in the city’s downtown, while interiors were led by Swedish studio Stylt Trampoli.
The hotel adopts the ambience of a quintessentially Danish summer home with a design that emphasizes rest and recuperation.
Given its location in the heart of the city, but also on an island, the design draws inspiration from both unspoilt nature and the urban lifestyle. Natural colors and materials are juxtaposed with the comings and goings of city life, with an added touch of nostalgic elements and collected objects that channel a bygone era.Â
The ground floor of the 25hours Hotel Paper Island is also home to event spaces for groups up to 150.
